Job Summary:

Vanderbilt University Medical Center seeks a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to serve as a GME Program Coordinator. This role will assist in the coordination of activities for the Graduate Medical Education (GME) program, including recruitment, onboarding, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in all aspects of the recruitment process, including coordinating interviews and communicating with applicants.
  • Provide administrative support to program leadership, including preparing reports and maintaining program databases.
  • Assist with process improvement and academic oversight, including tracking program metrics and implementing changes as needed.
  • Reconcile monthly program ledgers and assist with budgetary management.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating program-specific databases.
  • Assist with collection and submission to accrediting bodies and other regulatory agencies.
  • Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of annual events for GME residency or fellowship programs.
  • Maintain Residency Management Software Program, create evaluations, and manage working hour logs and reports.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
