We are in search of a Radiology Technologist to join our team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient patient care. If you are passionate about making a difference in patient care, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities and QualificationsSpecific Duties Include:
- Producing high-quality radiographs in a timely manner, both in the department and using portable equipment.
- Adhering to radiation safety protocols for both patients and staff, utilizing Personal Protective Equipment as necessary.
- Performing essential computer operations (e.g., Meditech and PACS) and ensuring accurate charge entry and verification of physician orders.
- Providing professional and courteous patient care.
- Preparing examination rooms for various radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, maintaining inventory and cleanliness.
- Assisting radiologists with the administration of medications and contrast agents.
- Reviewing exams for technical accuracy and completing the verification process in PACS.
- Supporting the Diagnostic Supervisor with PACS maintenance tasks.
- Meeting personal educational requirements for professional development.
- Maintaining confidentiality regarding employee and patient information in accordance with policies.
Qualifications Required:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
- Graduation from a vocational school.
