About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Supervisor to join our team at Manatee Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective management of our supply chain activities.

Responsibilities
  • Organize and supervise supply chain activities and related functions and systems.
  • Lead and coordinate activities of the department Storeroom, Warehouse, and Equipment Room.
  • Select, develop, supervise, and evaluate department staff.
  • Maintain department records, reports, and work closely with Finance.
  • Assist with the maintenance of adequate levels of supplies to meet patient care demands.
  • Establish and maintain quality control standards within Supply Chain.
  • Requires strong computer skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate/GED
  • Vocational/Technical School/Diploma
  • Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree
  • Minimum of three (3) years hospital supply experience (or other related roles)
  • Specific Core/Buyer experience preferred
  • Prior experience directly managing employees highly preferred
