Supply Chain Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Supervisor to join our team at Manatee Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our supply chain department, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective management of supply chain activities and related functions.
Responsibilities- Organize and supervise supply chain activities and related functions to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Lead and coordinate activities of the department Storeroom, Warehouse, and Equipment Room to ensure smooth operations.
- Select, develop, supervise, and evaluate department staff to ensure high-quality performance.
- Maintain department records, reports, and work closely with Finance to ensure accurate financial management.
- Assist with maintaining adequate levels of supplies to meet patient care demands on a seasonal basis.
- Establish and maintain quality control standards within Supply Chain to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- High School Graduate/GED
- Vocational/Technical School/Diploma
- Associate Degree
- Bachelor's Degree
- Master's Degree
- Minimum of three (3) years hospital supply experience (or other related roles)
- Specific Core/Buyer experience preferred
- Prior experience directly managing employees highly preferred
