Position Summary

The Lawn Care Specialist (LCS) will report directly to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for delivering tailored lawn and landscape solutions for Imperial Landscaping (IL) and its clientele. Key responsibilities include:

  • Administering treatments of fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides as per the scheduled applications, which involves the precise mixing of necessary chemicals for both power and handheld spraying.
  • Loading the fertilizer vehicle with required supplies and equipment for the daily route and executing the enhancements at each client location.
  • Engaging with customers to explain, advise, and promote IL services that best align with their needs.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience in landscaping operations with a truck for onsite customer visits.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Current VDACS Registered Technician and Commercial Applicator certification.
  • Proficient in the operation, loading, and maintenance of commercial fertilizer trucks, adhering to legal and safety protocols.
  • Able to conduct comprehensive site analyses.
  • Skilled in calculating, mixing, and applying necessary quantities for enhancement tasks, with a commitment to delivering top-quality work and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Experienced in liaising and coordinating with job vendors.
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Enjoys tackling challenges and problem-solving.
  • Demonstrates honesty, courtesy, and professionalism.
  • Passionate about meeting clients, understanding their needs, and providing value-added solutions while enhancing their overall experience with IL.
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs. or more to transport equipment and supplies.
