Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of up to 4 crew members in providing cleanup and pruning maintenance services to our clients.
  • Operate commercial hedge trimmers, prune and shape bushes, edge mulch beds, and lay mulch in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist with loading and unloading work trucks, ensuring that all equipment and materials are properly secured and transported.
  • Drive a company truck and trailer, adhering to all safety policies and regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, providing excellent customer service and feedback.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of work, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as a crew leader in commercial lawn care, with a proven track record of success.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to speak and understand English fluently.
  • Reliable and dependable, with a strong work ethic.
  • Desire to work in landscaping and a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
Physical Demands
  • Full range of mobility in upper and lower body.
  • Ability to reach overhead and work in various standing and bending positions for extended periods.
  • Capacity to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to complete assigned tasks.
  • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
