Primary Responsibilities
1. Facilitates and leads collaboration among internal and external stakeholders to develop, communicate, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
2. Analyzes cost structures to optimize expenses across the supply chain, employing data-driven solutions to manage costs effectively.
3. Oversees the execution of cost reduction strategies by creating and managing integrated master schedules, risk assessments, and action item lists across functions.
4. Works closely with suppliers to reduce costs and enhance overall supply chain performance, focusing on efficiency and waste reduction.
5. Aids in negotiations with suppliers to obtain better pricing, streamline processes, and ensure the availability of cost-effective materials.
6. Investigates opportunities for bulk purchasing, long-term agreements, and strategic partnerships to realize cost savings.
7. Implements strategies that align with organizational goals to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
8. Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress towards cost reduction objectives and adjust strategies as necessary.
9. Prepares and presents recommendations for review by cross-functional management teams.
10. Remains updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to sustain the company's competitive advantage regarding costs.
11. Acts as the primary liaison for cost-related matters between the Business Office and internal stakeholders.
12. Ensures adherence to procurement guidelines, company policies, and strategic objectives.
13. Complies with federal, state, and local regulations, including those from the Uniform Commercial Code, FAA, ITAR, and other relevant laws.
Qualifications and Skills
1. A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, or Business Administration.
2. At least 5 years of experience in procurement with a proven track record of achieving cost reductions.
3. Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or project management within the aviation or aerospace manufacturing sector is preferred.
Performance Metrics
1. Exceptional writing skills with experience in presenting information to varied audiences.
2. Comprehensive understanding of product development, qualification, and production launch processes.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with SAP, Teamcenter, and cost analysis software is advantageous.

5. Strong leadership capabilities.
6. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to engage with all levels of internal stakeholders.
7. Strong interpersonal skills for fostering relationships with suppliers and company personnel.

10. Capacity to manage multiple projects independently with minimal supervision.

Work Environment
