In this role, you will be responsible for fostering collaboration among technicians, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining clear communication with clients, suppliers, and vendors regarding project statuses and requirements. The Operations Manager will act as a key representative of LaNotte Refrigeration, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the maintenance and service team to guarantee high-quality onsite performance.
  • Develop and manage service and maintenance schedules in coordination with the Service Dispatcher.
  • Procure and monitor materials necessary for quoted projects and scheduled maintenance.
  • Evaluate, edit, and price service reports for accuracy.
  • Approve weekly time cards submitted by technicians.
  • Prepare estimates for recommended services.
  • Draft new or renewal maintenance agreements.
  • Provide regular updates and communication to clients.
  • Assess technicians' work to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
  • Coordinate training and ongoing support for installation teams.
  • Offer technical assistance to HVAC technicians as needed.
  • Ensure that technician licenses and certifications are current and renewed.
  • Adhere to service standards, operational guidelines, and client specifications.
  • Perform additional tasks as necessary to ensure efficient departmental operations.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of the commercial HVAC and refrigeration industry.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in HVAC training, with a commitment to further education in HVAC and refrigeration.
  • Field technician experience is a significant advantage.
  • Strong understanding of advanced concepts in air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
  • Self-motivated and dependable.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Willingness to handle after-hours calls when necessary.
