Job Title: Senior HVAC Controls Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HVAC Controls Engineer to join our team at EMCOR. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex electrical circuits, developing written sequences of operations, and creating P&IDs based on mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Identify MEP systems on drawings and understand the intent of individual mechanical equipment
* Develop written sequences of operations based on mechanical drawings or real-world site conditions
* Design complex electrical circuits, including VFDs, motor starters, transducers, actuators, sensors, and relay logic
* Create P&IDs based on mechanical equipment only
* Develop controls submittals and O&M packages

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent field experience
* 4+ years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in applications engineering
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Working knowledge of at least two HVAC controls systems
