Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Coordinated Manufacturing Assistant at Premier Metal Finishing, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating daily order entry, production tracking, and customer communication.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Entering sales orders with accuracy and efficiency
  • Tracking and communicating production schedules to customers and management
  • Estimating lead and production times to meet customer expectations
  • Assisting in ordering materials from vendors and tracking delivery status
  • Contributing to documenting policies and procedures for optimal workflow
  • Evaluating and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Supporting the management team as needed to drive business success

Requirements:

  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturing blueprints with a strong aptitude for math
  • Prior experience in an order desk or similar role in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Strong customer service skills that convey a professional image
  • Knowledge of metals and material types, and their differences
  • Ability to learn quickly and problem-solve with excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
