Manufacturing Operations Coordinator

As a Manufacturing Operations Coordinator at Premier Metal Finishing, LLC, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of daily order entry, production tracking, and customer communication. Your expertise in Microsoft Office and ERP systems will be instrumental in driving our business forward.
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter sales orders with accuracy and efficiency
- Track and communicate production schedules to customers and management
- Estimate lead and production times to meet customer expectations
- Assist in ordering materials from vendors and track delivery status
- Contribute to documenting policies and procedures for optimal workflow
- Evaluate and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Support the management team as needed to drive business success
Requirements:
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing blueprints with a strong aptitude for math
- Prior experience in an order desk or similar role in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Strong customer service skills that convey a professional image
- Knowledge of metals and material types, and their differences
- Ability to learn quickly and problem-solve with excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
