Redline Powersports Group is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to enhance our financial team. We are a dynamic organization committed to fostering talent and excellence in our operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Duties:

  • Ensure a precise and timely monthly accounting close process.
  • Verify the accuracy of physical inventory and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Assist the Chief Financial Officer in the annual budgeting process, assess departmental performance against financial plans, and create forecasts to project financial outcomes.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Support the CFO in generating the monthly management financial reporting package, including variance analysis.
  • Deliver operational data insights to key leadership members.

Internal Controls:

  • Evaluate, document, and implement robust internal controls.
  • Enhance and maintain accounting policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to develop new policies and procedures to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting department.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Oversee compliance and reporting for local, state, and federal taxes.
  • Manage the preparation of regulatory filings.
  • Handle debt covenant reporting.
  • Establish and implement both short-term and long-term goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for the accounting department.
  • Lead projects and initiatives as assigned.
