Job Description:
- The successful candidate will ensure that all reasonable accommodation requests are handled in accordance with the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA), and guidance from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
- They will evaluate medical documentation, meet with employees and applicants to discuss barriers, and identify suitable accommodations.
- This individual will collaborate with supervisors, managers, staff, and relevant partners to implement accommodations effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least four years of experience in HR generalist roles.
- Four years of experience performing reasonable accommodation duties.
- Knowledge of the Rehab Act of 1973, ADAAA, and EEOC guidance.
- Experience providing consultant services in reasonable accommodation.
- Strong technical skills to develop overall plans and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
