Job Summary
We are seeking a Strategic HR Business Partner Director to act as a strategic partner, embedding HR strategy into client business objectives. As a key member of our team, you will provide consultative guidance and support to internal client groups, focusing on talent management, succession planning, diversity, inclusion, rewards, recognition, organizational effectiveness, compensation strategy, and workforce planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to Business Strategy: Collaborate with business leaders to identify priorities, build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes that drive business performance.
- Talent Pipeline Planning: Support leaders in forecasting and planning their talent pipeline requirements, aligning with the function or business strategy.
- Long-Term People Initiatives: Drive and facilitate initiatives aligned with the strategic annual operating plan, identifying strategic talent needs, risks, and gaps.
- Leadership Culture: Facilitate a strong leadership and coaching culture, enabling managers to assume increasing responsibility for employee performance and development.
- Workforce Planning: Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies, ensuring effective workforce planning activities deliver business objectives.
- Employee Engagement: Develop and consult on employee engagement planning, retention plans, and initiatives targeting high potential and critical roles.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with COEs to address employee relations issues, providing a balanced perspective.
- Organizational Design: Understand the overall organizational structure, making recommendations as business needs evolve, and providing expert counsel on organizational design, restructuring, and realignment.
- Performance Management: Drive the integration of performance management philosophy into strategic business goals/plans.
- Business Decision Implications: Serve as a trusted advisor and coach, working with business leaders to ensure understanding of implications from multiple perspectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Work with cross-functional HR teams on various projects focused on continuous improvement of HR services and delivery.
- Change Initiatives: Identify and assess need for change initiatives, consulting on impact of process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree: Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.
- 8-10 Years of Experience: Related work experience, demonstrated success in driving people initiatives that enhance business performance.
- HR Policies and Processes: Significant knowledge of HR policies, processes (e.g., workforce planning and talent management), and talent management policies and practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR Systems: Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office products and HR systems.
Prioritized Salary Range
$163,000 - $211,140 per year, based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, internal equity, etc.
