Nursing Assistant Trainee

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant Trainee to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care to our clients, promoting their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide holistic client-centered care, promoting independence and client rights in a safe and efficient manner.
- Work under the supervision of a licensed nurse, assisting with basic health care needs and activities of daily living.
- Assist clients with meals, snacks, and hydration, as well as provide psychosocial support and deliver other personal care as assigned.
- Document client care and communicate changes in client condition and care-related concerns to a licensed nurse.
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
- Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- Dependent on facility and required responsibilities, this role may classify as a Sanford Category II Driver requiring a motor vehicle report and proof of valid driver's license.
