Position Summary: We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Leader to enhance our team.

The Facilities Maintenance Leader is tasked with upholding the physical integrity of the community. This role ensures a clean and well-maintained environment for residents, visitors, and staff. It is essential for the Facilities Maintenance Leader to proactively identify, address, and rectify any property-related issues while implementing preventive measures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for their work and possess outstanding communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and guarantee the effective maintenance of the property and grounds in alignment with Bonner Carrington Property Management standards and objectives.
  • Safely supervise and guide maintenance personnel.
  • Manage the property operating budget, including generating purchase orders and obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Review and prioritize work orders, ensuring completion in a safe and timely manner.
  • Respond to all work orders promptly.
  • Develop schedules and coordinate the make-ready program in collaboration with the property manager and staff.
  • Engage with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and safe completion of work.
  • Safeguard and maintain property equipment and supplies.
  • Implement a proactive maintenance strategy.
  • Conduct weekly property inspections to identify maintenance and safety concerns, managing the repair process accordingly.
  • Be available for after-hours emergency situations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in multifamily community maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, drywall, mold awareness, pool maintenance, roof and gutter repair, and painting is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License and current auto insurance.
  • EPA and/or HVAC certification; CPO certification is a plus.
  • Must provide personal tools for daily maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Mobility and flexibility to use ladders and work in confined spaces or at heights exceeding nine feet.
  • Familiarity with general maintenance tools and equipment.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying temperatures.
  • Ability to operate personal or company vehicles safely.
  • Compliance with company uniform and safety equipment requirements.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
