We are seeking a highly skilled IT Site Design Specialist to join our team at Jacobs. As a key member of our Lone Wolf program, you will play a critical role in supporting, operating, and maintaining the Distributed Continuity Integrated Network – Top Secret Enterprise Services (DCIN-TS ES).
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing hardware deployment site installation plans, performing site surveys, and creating installation diagrams/requirements for various devices. You will also develop Bills of Material (BOM) for equipment procurement, maintain operational knowledge of the program's equipment catalog, and coordinate with change management teams.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare hardware deployment site installation plans and perform site surveys to assess and document the current state.
- Create installation diagrams/requirements for devices such as KG-175 TACLANE encryption devices, Cisco routers, switches, and VoIP phones.
- Develop Bills of Material (BOM) for equipment procurement and maintain operational knowledge of the program's equipment catalog.
- Coordinate with change management teams, customer project managers, and administrative and technical program support staff.
- Review mission scope-of-work requirements and technical design packages.
- Assist with integration of network infrastructure hardware components and provide support to a large and diverse customer base.
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI
- 5 or more years of experience
- DoD 8570 IAT Level I Certification: Network+ CE certification or equivalent
- Proficiency with MS Office365 tools, specifically Visio
- Familiarity with modern technological developments and applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 75%
- ITIL 4 Foundation Certification
- Windows 10+ certification - MCSA or Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MDAA)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
