Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Experience Manager to join our team at Michaels. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and leading our front-end operations to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the execution of front-end operations, including customer service, sales, and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with store managers to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage and execute shrink and safety programs to minimize losses and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Train and develop team members to achieve sales and customer service goals.
  • Participate in the performance management process to ensure team members are meeting expectations.
  • Assist with cash reconciliation and bank deposits.
  • Assist with inventory processes, including Return to Vendor (RTV) and Advance Shipping Notice (ASN) activities.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new team members.
  • Lead the delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time by planning and managing the completion of the framing workload in partnership with the Store Manager.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time and move throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
