Position Overview

Join us as an Adolescent Support Specialist and play a vital role in the positive development of at-risk youth in our residential program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a positive and encouraging presence, acting as a role model for youth.
  • Facilitate group activities that enhance self-esteem and confidence among participants.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of clients through secure supervision during various shifts.
  • Lead daily activities and offer both group and individual counseling focused on strength-based development.
  • Utilize rational living cognitive behavioral therapy to assist youth in identifying and achieving their life goals.
Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience working with youth. A Bachelor's degree in social or behavioral services or outdoor recreation is preferred. Alternatively, 2+ years of college in a related field may substitute for youth experience.

Working Conditions

This role involves traveling across the property and navigating outdoor terrains, with constant exposure to varying weather conditions. Candidates must be prepared for shift work and are required to pass a drug screening in accordance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
