Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Lorven Technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex business problems and developing automated systems to solve them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business problems and develop solutions using automated systems.
  • Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing cost-effective systems and procedures.
  • Configure system settings and options.
  • Plan and execute business unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
  • Create specifications for systems to meet business requirements.
  • Design details of automated systems.
  • May provide consultation to users regarding automated systems.

  • Select from multiple procedures and methods to accomplish tasks.
  • Apply organizational policies and recommend exceptions.
  • Establish work methods, timetables, performance standards, etc.

Leadership Provided

  • Provide work group leadership, guidance, and/or training to less experienced staff.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Extensive knowledge of concepts, processes, and tools of the profession.
  • Strong knowledge of system development life cycle.
  • Principles and practices of effective team collaboration and conflict resolution.
  • Knowledge of relationship of professional discipline among related organizations and functions.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science (equivalent professional experience may be considered for substitution).
  • 5 years of specific ERP work experience, preferably Oracle Time & Labor (OTL) and TCP Timeclocks.

Preferred Education & Experience

  • Master's degree in computer science (equivalent professional experience may be considered for substitution) with 5-8 years directly related professional experience.
