Consejo Counseling and Referral Service is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Mount Vernon, WA.
Job Summary:As a therapy professional, you will play a vital role in providing social-psycho therapeutic assessments, interventions, and counseling for children and adult mental health clients. You will work closely with clients to ensure a holistic, culturally sensitive process that promotes their dignity, respect, safety, and optimal functioning.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide therapy services to clients, including assessments, interventions, and counseling.
- Maintain a caseload of assigned active clients to meet productivity requirements.
- Provide outreach and referral assistance to clients who are unable to access services within their community.
- Consult and collaborate with other professionals, supervisors, and agencies on client evaluations, treatment plans, and follow-up.
- Attend mandatory clinical training and department meetings to continuously improve professional development.
- Assist with providing education and information to the community, as well as serving on committees, task forces, and special assignments as needed.
- Master's degree in social work or a related field.
- LMHC/A, LMFT/A, LICSW/A preferred.
- Mental Health Professional (MHP) license.
- Active state of Washington counselor license.
- 2+ years of experience providing mental health counseling and case management services.
- Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing both English and Spanish preferred.
This full-time therapy position works a typical schedule of 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday.
Salary:$36.06/hr. based on experience, licenses, and education.
