Company Overview: Supreme Staffing is seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to join our team.
Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
Position Type: Direct Hire

Role Overview:
The Quality Engineer plays a crucial role in evaluating quality outputs through statistical methodologies and data analysis, aiming to enhance processes and minimize quality-related costs. This position involves conducting internal quality audits and ensuring the effective implementation and maintenance of the company's quality management system, guaranteeing that all manufactured products meet the highest quality standards. The Quality Engineer will also investigate, analyze, and propose solutions to address quality issues associated with manufacturing and distribution processes. Collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams is essential to ensure compliance with all product requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain systems and procedures to ensure adherence to Quality Standards.
- Develop, review, and enhance Quality inspection work instructions, processes, and procedures.
- Conduct internal and supplier audits, issuing Corrective Action Requests (CAR/SCAR) as necessary.
- Engage with customers regarding complaints, leading containment actions, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive measures.
- Compile reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data; providing actionable recommendations.
- Participate in Design Reviews, including technical assessments, feasibility discussions, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Formulate, implement, and oversee a Supplier Quality system to ensure incoming components meet specifications.
- Provide material review dispositions (MRB) for non-conformances.
- Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to quality.
- Ensure the calibration of quality instruments is conducted regularly.
- Review, prepare, and submit Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as a Quality Engineer with a strong focus on Quality.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards and industry regulations.
- Advanced problem-solving skills, including analysis, investigation, and follow-up.
- Experience with FMEA, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Control Plans, and PPAP.
- Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Project Management experience in leading quality-related and continuous improvement projects.
- Skilled in statistical analysis and report preparation, including Pareto charts.
- Excellent prioritization, interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in data analysis.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and Auditor certifications are preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) is a plus.
- Basic mechanical and manufacturing assembly skills.
