Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

Position Type: Direct Hire

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain systems and protocols to ensure adherence to Quality Standards.
  • Develop, review, and enhance Quality inspection guidelines, processes, and protocols.
  • Conduct internal and supplier audits, issuing Corrective Action Requests (CAR/SCAR) as necessary.
  • Collaborate with customers to address complaints, leading containment actions, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive measures.
  • Compile reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data; providing actionable recommendations.
  • Engage in Design Reviews, including technical assessments, feasibility discussions, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
  • Formulate, implement, and oversee a Supplier Quality system to ensure incoming materials meet specified standards.
  • Provide material review dispositions for non-conforming items.
  • Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality enhancement.
  • Ensure proper calibration of quality measurement instruments.
  • Review and submit Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Quality Engineer with a strong focus on Quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards and relevant industry regulations.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills, including analysis, investigation, and follow-up.
  • Experience with FMEA, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Control Plans, and PPAP.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Project Management experience in leading quality and continuous improvement projects.
  • Skilled in statistical analysis and report preparation, including Pareto charts.
  • Exceptional prioritization, interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in data analysis.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and Auditor are preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) is a plus.
  • Basic mechanical and manufacturing assembly skills.
