Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Unit at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a Cardiovascular Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Cardiovascular Unit environment
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to make informed decisions and prioritize patient needs
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in cardiovascular care

Requirements:

  • Current state RN license and associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within 90 days after hire date
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS certification or obtain within 6 months after hire date
  • Successfully pass an arrhythmia exam within 90 days after hire date
  • NIHSS Certification obtained within 90 days after hire date
