Position Overview:
Forge Nano Inc, a rapidly expanding company specializing in thin-film coating technology, is on the lookout for a seasoned Equipment Service Operations Manager. This role is pivotal in overseeing the customer service division, ensuring timely responses to inquiries, managing service personnel, and maintaining spare parts inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the service and support team at the Thornton facility to efficiently address customer and internal requests.
- Supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of semiconductor and powder Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) systems, prioritizing quality and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate personnel for installations and field service operations.
- Enhance the customer service experience to foster trust and loyalty.
- Develop strategic plans and budgets for the service department.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of service procedures and best practices.
- Assist sales teams in identifying and converting aftermarket opportunities.
- Optimize the spare parts inventory management system.
- Ensure a safe working environment, adhering to OSHA regulations and safety training.
- Collaborate with customers and sales teams to address key issues and refine service offerings.
- Initiate corrective actions for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience in a managerial role, or a Technical Associate's Degree with equivalent military training and 8+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in field service and customer support, particularly in the semiconductor industry, is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) is required.
Willingness to travel as necessary.

- Experience in developing and following work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Capability to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to handle support calls outside of standard business hours.
Work Environment:
This position involves working in a large technical facility, remotely, and at customer sites, often in cleanroom environments. Employees may handle hazardous materials and must wear appropriate safety gear, including eye protection and gloves.
Physical Requirements:
Employees must be able to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting containers up to 50 lbs and working near moving mechanical parts.
Travel:
Regular travel is a requirement for this position.
Compensation:
Salary range is $85,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, holidays, PTO, Flexible Spending Account, and 401(k) plan.
