Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager, Development Operations to lead our Public Sector sales efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing strategies to maximize margins and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve business objectives for the Public Sector market
  • Lead a team of Development Engineers and Delivery Consultants to provide technical expertise and drive secured sales
  • Collaborate with Area General Managers and Regional Management to plan, organize, and build a team to meet business objectives for key and target public sector accounts
  • Identify and support new market opportunities for public sector sales
  • Provide market expertise to assist in the development of value propositions, offerings, and strategy
  • Lead assigned areas in regional and local public sector marketing efforts, including trade shows, participation in relevant public sector associations, advertising, public relations, and political activity
  • Manage and measure public sector market sales performance to established standards
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Marketing; Master's degree preferred
  • Five to eight years of progressive experience and proven sales ability in the sales of building controls and services
  • Three years of experience in a lead or supervisory role with responsibility for the productivity or development of others
