We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our team at Oklahoma Farm Bureau Insurance Company. As a Help Desk Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for software, hardware, and printer-related issues
- Configure and maintain computer systems, including setup and delivery of new equipment
- Document all support issues and log calls using our Help Desk ticketing software
- Install hardware and software as needed, and maintain up-to-date information in Active Directory
- Support company events and participate in weekly after-hours/on-call rotation
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, and/or relevant experience and/or training
- Strong understanding of common operating systems and software applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to handle conflict and confront challenging issues in a fast-paced work environment
The employee will work in an office environment with a moderate noise level. The ideal candidate will have clear and conceptual thinking ability, excellent judgment, and the ability to handle work-related stress.
