{"I. Job Summary": "As a CDL Truck Driver at WM, you will be responsible for safely operating a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the safe transportation of waste and recyclables.", "II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities": "
  • Operate a heavy-duty truck in accordance with OSHA and DOT regulations, as well as company expectations for the Fleet.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle using the standard DVIR form.
  • Immediately report any unsafe situations or service calls to Route Manager or Dispatch.
  • Participate in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required by Route Manager.
  • Work closely with Route Managers to improve route efficiencies and identify problem or unsafe accounts.
  • Perform all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch, assisting other company drivers as directed.
