About the Role

The Regency Integrated Health Services team is seeking a skilled and dedicated RN Charge Nurse to join our Windsor Las Palmas Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in McAllen, TX. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the provision of quality care that promotes the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychological well-being of each resident.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • ">
  • Conduct regular rounds to observe, assess, document, and report on resident condition/changes">
  • Implement care plans as directed and administer medications as prescribed">
  • Collaborate with physicians during rounds and record visits in clinical records">
  • Maintain accurate narcotic reconciliation for incoming and outgoing shifts">
  • Identify significant changes in resident condition and take necessary action per facility policies and procedures">
  • Oversee and monitor aides to ensure high-quality care">
  • Initiate and complete Incident and Accident Reports per facility policy">
  • Discharge residents according to facility procedures">
  • Communicate effectively with residents' points of contact regarding status updates or changes in condition">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • ">
  • A completed RN program from an accredited vocational school, college, or university">
  • An active Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas in good standing">
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (preferable)">
