Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator role at Rio Grande Regional Hospital is a key position that ensures high-quality, patient-centered care in the emergency room. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating nursing care, managing staff, and contributing to an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to optimize patient throughput and care quality.
  • Participate in assessing and improving the quality of patient care services within the emergency room unit.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to foster a culture of teamwork and excellence.
  • Support patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Operationalize current nursing strategies to enhance engagement and improve patient experience.
  • Recommend and implement courses of action to ensure a competitively better organization.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Registered Nurse degree and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification (or obtain within 30 days).
  • An Associate Degree or higher qualification.

Salary Range
