Overview
Virginia Commonwealth University Health System's busy Primary Care Clinic at the Ambulatory Care Center in downtown Richmond is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As part of the Division of Internal Medicine Residency Program, we support attending managed & resident managed clinics for all levels of primary care health needs and also urgent care needs.

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this LPN position ranges from $65,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan with matching contributions.

Job Description
This is a part-time position that requires a 20 hour/week commitment. Our clinic hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with some flexibility. No weekends, nights or holidays are required. The LPN job commences to integrate technical skills and theoretical knowledge to meet the needs of the patient and family. This role assists the healthcare team with the prevention of illness and injury, maintenance of wellness, and provision of comfort.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Licensure, certification or registration varies depending on the incumbent`s employment background and transitional assignment; LPN licensure in Virginia or eligible Licensure. Current LPN licensure in Virginia is required for continued employment. AHA BLS Certification or equivalent is also required. Experience as a LPN in either an acute care setting or as applicable to area of practice is preferred. Graduation from a Board of Nursing approved School of Practical Nursing is required. N/A education/training is preferred.
