Position Overview:

Entegris is in search of a Supply Chain Specialist to enhance our logistics team. This role is pivotal in supporting our North America Logistics Operations, focusing on material management, product oversight, and process optimization. Key responsibilities encompass inventory oversight, coordination of essential components, compliance with import-export regulations, and collaboration with external partners. The specialist will bridge the gap between sales and operations, contributing to product knowledge sharing, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. Furthermore, the role involves evaluating internal performance metrics to boost customer satisfaction and meet service commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations at our third-party distribution center, ensuring alignment with corporate standards.
  • Maintain an updated warehouse layout to support accurate inventory tracking and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels of critical finished goods, ensuring alignment with warehouse capacity.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end inventory reporting, collaborating with finance and logistics partners to ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct research and analysis on key performance indicators, providing actionable insights to meet distribution objectives.
  • Utilize SAP for effective warehouse management and reporting, including stock analysis and processing.
  • Implement and manage standard operating procedures within the distribution center.
  • Address delays and exceptions by collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain real-time visibility of shipments.
  • Serve as the primary contact between Entegris and the third-party warehouse, ensuring compliance with operational expectations.
  • Train third-party personnel on new procedures and instructions related to logistics operations.
  • Manage the flow of materials and oversee inbound shipments from suppliers.
  • Compile data for temperature logs and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with internal standards.
  • Handle quality notifications related to shipment discrepancies and ensure resolution.
  • Assess customer support metrics to ensure service commitments are fulfilled.

Candidate Profile:

  • Results-driven approach to meet departmental and corporate objectives.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop systematic solutions and critical thinking strategies for logistics operations.
  • Willingness to travel to distribution centers as needed for operational assessments.
  • Commitment to upholding company policies and procedures.
  • Experience in leading cost-saving initiatives with partners and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields preferred.
  • Familiarity with finished goods distribution and industry terminology.
  • Excellent communication skills for facilitating discussions with partners.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and other relevant software.
  • Minimum of three years of experience with SAP and in logistics or supply chain roles.
