Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations.
  • Work from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets, and written or verbal assembly instructions.
  • Set initial layouts and use a variety of tools to prepare product(s).
  • Make continuity checks on work in process and completed.
  • Conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

Requirements:

  • Broad knowledge of operational systems and practices typically gained through prior work experience and/or education.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience.
  • Experience with fine wire soldering.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a medical device setting.
  • Prior assembly work with complex capital equipment systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations and medical device quality standards.

Benefits and Compensation:

This position has a set hourly starting rate at $24.00/hour, plus a $1.50/hr shift differential = $25.50/hr. The starting base rate of pay for this position and location is $24.00 per hour. The base rate is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California.
