About the Job

We are seeking a skilled MRI Equipment Operator to join our team at Atrium Health Charlotte.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operates MRI scanners and associated equipment with a high level of proficiency.
  • Assists physicians and other medical personnel during invasive procedures.
  • Maintains knowledge of all MRI safety requirements for both staff and patients.

Schedule and Work Environment

This is a full-time position with regular hours. You will work in a fast-paced environment with occasional exposure to physical conditions such as walking on hard surfaces, climbing stairs, and being near moving equipment.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year (estimated)

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited AMA-approved program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology, ARRT or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine with advanced registry from the ARMRIT or ARRT in MRI within one year of hire.
  • CPR certification.
