MRI Imaging Specialist

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team at Atrium Health Charlotte. This is a full-time opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Job SummaryThe MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of radiologic technology principles, and experience with MRI equipment.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the process and any necessary precautions.
- Operate MRI scanners and associated equipment, following departmental protocols and standards.
- Conduct diagnostic exams, evaluating images for technical quality and consulting with radiologists as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, exam results, and contrast administration.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in radiologic technology and MRI procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA-approved program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and advanced registry in MRI required within one year of hire.
- CPR certification required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
