About the Job

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Atrium Health Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for operating MRI scanners and associated equipment with a high level of proficiency. This includes scanning, post-processing, and other related tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Examining requests and verifying orders on each assigned patient
  • Preparing patients for procedures and documenting medical history
  • Administering IV contrast according to departmental protocols
  • Evaluating technical quality of images and consulting with radiologists as needed
  • Performing basic patient care functions and informing nursing personnel of any changes in patient condition
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA-approved program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology or active enrollment in a ARMRIT or ARRT registry-eligible program
  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine with advanced registry from the ARMRIT or ARRT in MRI within one year of hire
  • CPR certification
Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, and dental insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, and health savings account.
