Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team at Cennox. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our commercial renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site surveys to determine initial project plans with the project manager.
  • Ensure all required materials, equipment, and inspections are completed to support the project schedule.
  • Manage site safety, ensuring the overall jobsite is safe for workers and visitors, and comply with established company safety policies.
  • Review construction documents for completeness and constructability.
  • Manage project plans, specifications, and manufacturer's data, and execute projects based on said documentation.
  • Generate RFIs (Requests for Information) as required to ensure completeness of project documents and identify discrepancies.
  • Work with the project team to follow the company's quality control program for the project.
  • Conduct preconstruction planning meetings and on-site project meetings with subcontractors and construction trades lead personnel.
  • Manage subcontractors for all work performed on-site.
  • Set an example in keeping the job site organized and clean, including meeting standards for waste disposal and environmental protection.
  • Track site progress, capture progress photos, and report subcontractor onsite manhours using an app on your phone.
Requirements
  • Construction management/superintendent/carpentry/foreman experience background (2 years minimum).
  • 2+ years of proven leadership or supervisory role.
  • Clean DMV/Background Check back to 18 years old.
  • Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings.
  • Reliable transportation and flexible work hours.
  • All work is completed after hours at night and on weekends.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Experience with interior finishes.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move 50 or more pounds.
  • Ability to work indoors and outside (including during inclement weather).
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to sit and drive vehicle with extensive travel.
  • Ability to climb, bend, stoop, and reach freely.
  • Vision correctable to 20/20.
