Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse RN Emergency Room to join our team. As an ER RN, you will work in a fast-paced setting with patients requiring urgent treatment due to a life-threatening medical condition, illness, or injury. You will provide clinical expertise and the highest quality care in a compassionate manner.
Responsibilities- Quickly access and prioritize incoming patients
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and stabilize patients
- Provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN's scope of practice and in accordance with established policies
- Provide patient education / follow-up care instructions and make necessary referrals
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
Current state licensure required
Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills required
BLS and ALS certification required and maintained
EPNC (or PALS) required and TNCC or Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) required within one year of hire
