Clinical Nurse Coordinator Emergency Room Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Belton Regional Medical Center. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in our Emergency Room department.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the Emergency Room department.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
- Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current state of Missouri RN licensure required.
- Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills required.
- BLS and ALS certification required and maintained.
- EPNC (or PALS) required and TNCC or Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) required within one year of hire.
- Two (2) years of clinical practice in the clinical specialty of his/her unit and leadership/management experience is preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
