Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Belton Regional Medical Center. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the emergency room during the designated shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality care.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the emergency room.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies.
Requirements
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support.
- NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse.
- Advanced Trauma Care for Nurse, or Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
