The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking an experienced Office Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office, supervising subordinate personnel, and ensuring the smooth delivery of administrative services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, including supervising subordinate personnel, hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the director and other senior staff members, including preparing reports and projects as assigned.
  • Human Resources: Review and manage human resources, payroll, and billing charges, as applicable.
  • Policy Development: Work with the administrator or manager to review office operations and assist in the creation or revision of policies and procedures.
  • Performance Improvement: Periodically review office performance and identify areas for improvement, working in conjunction with other departments as needed.
  • Reporting and Projects: Assist management in the creation of reports and projects, as assigned.
  • Training and Development: Maintain currency in all applicable computer programs and provide training and coverage for subordinate staff.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate Degree or equivalent in business or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in an administrative environment, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
