Job Summary:
The Good Samaritan Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Institute team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of the Director and/or designee.
- Perform a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements and best practices.
Requirements:
- Licensed Registered Nurse, State of Florida
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- ACLS within 6 months of hire
- Successful completion of Basic EKG course within 6 months of employment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 0 to less than 6 months of experience in a hospital setting
