Foth, a leading engineering and science consulting firm in the nation, is seeking a dedicated, innovative, and results-driven Chief Growth Officer to become part of our executive leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will collaborate with the executive team and business unit leaders, as well as engage with Board members, to formulate and execute strategies for organic growth and acquisitions across the corporation and its subsidiaries, ensuring we meet our goals for profitable growth and client retention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage actively in the strategic planning and forecasting processes to align the organization’s business strategies with objectives for profitable growth and client retention.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and business unit leaders to design an effective sales organization, participate in the recruitment of new team members, and maintain a collaborative relationship with sales and marketing personnel across all Foth entities.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and effective use of sales and marketing practices and standardized processes across all Foth companies, including brand standards, sales planning, and proposal development.
  • Identify and research new market opportunities, services, and delivery methods in partnership with Foth business units.
  • Recognize and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities among Foth business units.
  • Support training and development initiatives aimed at enhancing the sales organization’s capabilities, including sales processes, client negotiations, and risk management.
  • Actively engage with key clients to support business unit client relationship activities, including proposal reviews and participation in client meetings.
  • Travel as necessary to client locations and other Foth offices.
  • Exemplify the values of our brand and culture through your actions and interactions with colleagues.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 15+ years of experience in driving strategic growth in a P&L leadership role within a mid-sized or larger organization, including leading high-performing sales teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in engineering and/or a professional engineering license.
  • Master of Business Administration.
  • Familiarity with the markets in which Foth operates.
  • Previous experience overseeing marketing functions.
  • Experience in a professional services or consulting environment.
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions.
