Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EHS Manager to join our team at Johnson Controls International. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

  • Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.

  • Provide training and education to employees on EHS policies and procedures.

  • Manage and maintain accurate records of EHS-related data and reports.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure EHS considerations are integrated into business decisions.

  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.

  • Minimum six years of experience in a manufacturing or construction environment with a minimum of two years in a supervisory or management role.

  • Previous experience in heavy industrial environments highly preferred.

  • Experience in accident investigation, analysis, and corrective action planning.

  • Experience with administering hazardous communication programs and managing emergency response teams.

  • Strong computer and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
