We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Technician II to join our team at Serco North America. As a Diesel Technician II, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing light, medium, and heavy-duty diesel trucks and various other construction, GSE, and utility-specific equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain automotive and diesel vehicles, construction, and material handling equipment.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair hydraulic systems on bucket trucks and digger derricks.
- Perform engine, electrical, and drivability diagnostics and repairs.
- Conduct PA state inspections and manufacturer-recommended services.
- Diagnose and repair aftertreatment systems.
- Enter accurate work order data into a fleet maintenance system.
- Schedule and prioritize work based on driver reports and planned maintenance.
- A valid DOT medical card or the ability to obtain one.
- At least 5 years of related experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Customer-focused, strong work ethic, and positive attitude.
- Be a safety-oriented individual.
- CDL B license required, but can be obtained after employment begins with training and reimbursement.
- Candidates must provide truck technician hand tools.
- Competitive rates and benefits.
- Allowances for boots, tools, and safety glasses.
- Two weeks of uniforms, including wet and cold weather gear and all required PPE and shop gear.
- Free and paid training.
- License and inspection cost reimbursement, as well as tuition reimbursement for industry schools.
- ASE testing reimbursement.
- Well-equipped, safe, and regulatory-compliant shops with excellent security.
