Diesel Mechanic

As a Diesel Technician II at Serco North America, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing light, medium, and heavy-duty diesel trucks and various other construction, GSE, and utility-specific equipment. You will operate automotive and diesel vehicles, inspect, diagnose, and repair hydraulic systems, perform engine, electrical, and drivability diagnostics/repair, and provide clear and accurate information when entering work order data into a fleet maintenance system.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain a variety of equipment, including diesel trucks, construction equipment, and GSE.
Inspect and diagnose issues with hydraulic systems, engines, and electrical systems.
Perform repairs and maintenance on diesel trucks and other equipment, including routine maintenance and complex repairs.
Provide accurate and clear information when entering work order data into the fleet maintenance system.
Work collaboratively with other technicians and maintenance staff to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
Requirements:
Valid DOT medical card or ability to obtain one.
At least 5 years of related experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with good driving record.
Customer-focused, strong work ethic, and positive attitude.
Safety-oriented individual.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
