Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Technician to join our team at TEKsystems. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site support for internet installations and password setup, as well as providing "White Glove" service to our end-user community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onsite support in internet installations and password setup
  • Provide "White Glove" service to the end-user community
  • Work on a team to perform tests that network connections are working and show end users how to access
  • Report and receive directions from a TEKsystems Team Lead
  • Report hours worked each day to TEKsystems Team Lead
  • Provide daily reports to TEKsystems Team Lead of what was completed, including tracking end users completed each day and documenting any issues to be escalated or that were resolved
  • Able to communicate computer and printer connectivity issues for end users
  • Prior experience resolving basic wireless connectivity issues
  • Experience managing a workload/schedule that requires you to travel to multiple areas of a large facility throughout the day and accurately document within an Excel worksheet
  • Must be fluent in English and able to communicate well with others
  • Must have reliable transportation to/from the work site so that person is on time for work by 8:00am local time
  • Should not have a second job that conflicts with working Monday thru Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm local time
  • Competency in MS Excel with ability to create spreadsheets and formulas to track data entry
  • Knowledge of MS Teams to participate in calls and send messages
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software dealing with WiFi and network connectivity

  • Fluency in English
  • Reliable transportation
  • Availability to work Monday thru Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm local time
  • Competency in MS Excel
  • Knowledge of MS Teams
