Job Summary

The Outreach Specialist will work closely with our team to provide outreach services to individuals at risk of overdose, including harm reduction education, supplies, and referrals to treatment and other support services. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by addiction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outreach services to individuals at risk of overdose, including harm reduction education and supplies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to ensure seamless referrals and support services
  • Collaborate with our team to provide case management and care coordination services to individuals and families
  • Participate in community events and activities to promote harm reduction and substance use disorder awareness
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required by DPH and DMHAS
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with substance use disorders or equivalent lived experience
  • Experience with harm reduction approaches and delivery of harm reduction services and supplies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Valid driver's license and insurance
