Job Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technician to join our dynamic team at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. As an Electrophysiology Technician, you will play a key role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac rhythm disorders.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians in the performance of electrophysiology procedures
  • Operate and maintain specialized equipment, including Carto and Ensite systems
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to patients undergoing EP procedures
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless execution of procedures
  • Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest electrophysiology techniques and technologies
  • Participate in ongoing education and training programs
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and continuous quality improvement
  • Support the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

    Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of electrophysiology experience or 3 years of interventional experience
  • EP Lab experience with a CVT background and RCES certification or interventional technologist background with ARRT certification
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and schedules
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy equipment
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and support the mission and values of St. Vincent’s Medical Center
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
