Technical Specialist III

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist III to join our team at Williams Companies Inc. As a Technical Specialist III, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our systems, maintaining compliance, and ensuring the safety of our facility equipment and pipeline operations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform moderately sophisticated technical assignments to ensure system integrity, compliance, facility equipment maintenance, and pipeline operations support.
- Participate in project planning and collaborate with company partners to guarantee accurate and available data.
- Read, understand, and evaluate engineering design documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma/GED and equivalent experience or Associates degree in engineering or a technical field and a minimum of four (4) years' experience in oil & gas industry.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field and minimum seven (7) years of progressive experience in field operations or other technical specialty.
- Must be willing to work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises, and in enclosed spaces.
- Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed.
- Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time.
- Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment).
- Use hand tools.
- Available to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts, and holidays as the need arises.
- May be required to work overtime, 10-12 hour shifts, and travel between Williams locations with occasional overnight stays.
- Must possess valid State Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Exhibits excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priority.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills.
